Polish Production

[edit]

Wasn't there the intention to build this aircraft in Poland? I remember seeing the sole build N3535C along the road, in a sorry state, in a village called Widelka somewhere in 1995. Back then it was said to have moved to Poland to see whether production could be established. --Antheii (talk) 22:33, 19 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The only info I have is that the prototype and only PA-35 was sold to Pezetel in Poland in 1976 but my source does not mention anything about production in Poland. That does not mean that it was not contemplated, what we need is a reliable source that mentions an intention to build it in Poland. MilborneOne (talk) 22:39, 19 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the quick reply. If I was certain this production was planned -like some other Piper aircraft- I would have added it to the article. I think I have an image of it somewhere (although bad quality), will try to retrieve that from the "archives". --Antheii (talk) 22:50, 19 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I will add the sale to Poland with a ref to the article later when I have more time. MilborneOne (talk) 12:10, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
